The Quebec MR-69 efile setup can be accessed from the Efile menu, found on the DT Max toolbar, and by selecting EFILE setup followed by Quebec MR-69.

Transmitting the Form MR-69, Authorization to Communicate Information or Power of Attorney, to Revenu Québec requires a T1 or T2 Quebec NetFile number and a web access code. You can manually enter your assigned Revenu Québec NetFile number and web access code within the Quebec MR-69 efile setup.

If you have already entered this information within your Quebec DT Max T1 or T2 efile setup and wish to have it automatically retrieved by the DT Max program then select the option Retrieve your Quebec NetFile number and web access code from your Quebec TP1 or CO-17 EFILE setup. There is no need to manually enter your Quebec NetFile number and web access code.

Please note that to retrieve the Quebec NetFile number and web access code from your Quebec TP1 or CO-17 EFILE setup you must be working from the same DT Max database folder. For example, if your DT Max T3 database is located within C:\Client, then you will only be able to retrieve your TP1 or CO-17 NetFile number and web access code if your DT Max T1 or DT Max T2 database is also located within C:\Client. If this is not the case, then you should manually enter your NetFile information.

Once you have accounted for your NetFile number and web access code, all that remains is to determine whether you want to manually enter the Efile-MR-69 keyword within each eligible MR-69 client file. If you wish to have the DT Max program automatically handle this aspect, then simply select the option Insert the Efile-MR-69 keyword (to complete line 60) within all eligible MR-69 clients.

Please note that, for DT Max T1 purposes, the keyword will only be included if the individual in question is sixteen years of age or older.

Once you have completed the Quebec MR-69 efile setup, click Save.
